Katherine Nikitine is a young international concert pianist, and a teacher at the prestigious Geneva Music Conservatoire (where Franz Liszt himself was the first piano teacher!).

Katherine holds two masters from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Lyon (CNSM) and studied in Paris with renowned masters as François René Duchable, Georges Pludermacher. She has also studied organ (first prize with honours at the Paris Conservatoire – CRR), notably with Marie-Claire Alain, Jean Guillou and Michel Chapuis.

While visiting family in the Motueka region (her brother Jean-Francois Robert is the founder of Piano on Tour), she kindly offered to perform for the Motueka community with a concert at the Chanel Arts Centre.

This is a beautiful opportunity to listen to an exquisite programme of some of the gems of the piano repertoire, performed by a world-class pianist.
